What licensing etc. do I need to sell a device, which uses an integrated iPad with a custom app?

I have developed a device, which I would like to commercialise in the near future. The device (without going into details for secrecy), mechano-electrical and has an integrated iPad. A custom app has been written to connect to the device and communicate via a redpark serial cable.

What I would like to know is, what licenses do I need as a company in order to sell my device to consumers. The consumers will mostly be other businesses.

I have searched for a while but I could only find sources on how to sell and distribute apps, but nothing on selling devices with integrated iOS devices that have custom apps.
